Adherents of Climate Change Catastrophism demand the world’s population drastically change their lifestyle to combat what they believe will bring the death of the planet and humanity and that’s in that order.
In the late 1800s and early 1900s the elite class did everything possible to keep their foot on the throat of the everyman. When Unions began to appear the Pinkerton Detective Agency was was born. The agents were giving free reign to bust heads and murder Union organizers while the police looked the other way. Power is the most addictive drug of all. Don't for a second believe this new batch of elite is any different than that old batch.
It's a great grift...I'll give them that. Scare people with tales of the Boogeyman, print money to pay for things we don't need and that don't really work anyways, hide the true costs and reap the rewards.
Wonderful article, Leap. An accurate point about the currency debasement that occurs with green subsidies. To add insult to injury, these green technologies are less reliable/efficient/cost-effective which increases the cost of first ingredient in every good/service, namely energy.
It is clear that we are thinking on similar lines. The Luxury Beliefs are rooted in the dark tetrad of Machiavellianism, psychothapy, narcissism and sadism.
