Why don’t the CADS sufferers lead by example? They could just stop expelling CO2. That would help save the planet and they could stop all the worry and histrionics.
Isn't it interesting that these people continue their serial histrionics year after year, even though not one of their predicted disasters has ever happened? You would think that if their raging protests were borne of some genuine concern, the demonstrators would eventually notice that their fears are not panning out. After all, even little children eventually see reality and outgrow their tantrums. Maybe they like melodrama for its own sake.
It's a good question: "What happens to the activists when the transition fails?" Will they realized they had the physics wrong and move on with life like the rest of us? ...One can hope.
I lost access to a reply to a Joshua Hill note, yesterday, regarding this topic. It is still getting likes from people, but it is now invisible to me. So I tested the mechanism by going to his SubStack and I see the black box that I have never seen. I tested a post comment and discovered that I have been completely blocked for asking a question about the radical means to address weather changes. This means that I could not edit that note or reply, which is OK, because I would not change the question. It is scary to think that those who would institute radical changes which can cause severe consequences, seem to be not open to debate or new information.
Most people are used to the weather staying mostly the same most of the time - even here in the rainy Philippines, especially in the monsoon season, where going down the road a few kilometers or waiting thirty minutes can flip you from cloudy to sunny to rainy and back. The sentiment is that these things constitute climate change.
Meanwhile, climate change actually represents slow shifts over many years, in keeping with the 30-year definition of the climate.
Violence is always the ultimate move. These are the same individuals who hate guns, but love to use the State's guns against you.
Exactly! Mercuse would be smiling from the grave

I can’t believe Joshua Hill is a real person. Gen Dread is also insane. Fascinating to watch a cult in action.

Some perspective is called for.
