But why the anti-gas position of the powers that be?

What I see mainstream media report about is the complete opposite of what I see in reality. In the petrochemical arena in the Gulf South, there are tons of expansions and new facilities being constructed with large natural gas consumption. There are also big expansions in the large LNG export facilities in LA and TX. To think they could do this nationwide when large companies are dumping billions into new facilities using natural gas is a pipe dream. I mean, that won't stop the Biden administration from trying (and they won't ever stop) but I just don't see this being anything other than a distraction from the other nefarious crap they do on a regular basis.

Thanks for your awesome reporting!

Again, the purpose of these efforts is not to shutdown NG consumption, they are still pushing it as the only thing that makes wind & solar possible and allows them to replace coal and nuclear creating an energy monopoly that can be squeezed anytime they want as they are now doing in Europe using their contrived Ukraine War.

The real purpose is to force all homes and commercial business to be reliant on the electrical grid which they are systematically destroying with wind & solar. No way out. So no homeowner or building operator can switch to NG powered CHP generators to opt out of their expensive, unreliable electrical grid. There is no reason at this point than a mass produced NG CHP generator will cost much more than a standard home boiler/hot water installation.
