Even before Green Leap Forward, I've been a bit of a naturalist and now "beyond organic" farmer so green's one of my favorite colours. Especially greenbacks. I use them where they make a difference to me taking into account ease of acquisition, security in storage, and rate of return when using. The so-called "green economy" checks none of those blocks for me.

Climate alarmists consume plenty of electric cars and roof-top solar panels even though there's no evidence these products reduce carbon emissions or reverse climate change. Even so, they claim they're doing it "to save the planet." This is bogus. They are scamming Americans bigtime.

I’ve had the experience of working in both the natural gas business and now doing the engineering to connect renewables to the grid. If you want to see ruthless, clear eyed, hard nosed capitalists it’s the renewable gang. These aren’t environmentalists. They are there to make money, they have it figured out and they have parachutes in the form of stacks of shell companies so that can bail out at a moments notice. The subsidies and tax credits have front loaded these deals to the point that they recover initial costs very quickly. If the subsidies go away, we’ll see abandoned solar, wind and battery across the country side with no recourse, and a breached contract with an entity that doesn’t exist. The banks will have to eat it and we’ll have to bail them about again.

The only bright spot is that these climate friendly banks will be the canaries.

These people make me want to put all of my investments into high carbon intensity industries so we can get back to making real things.

Funny thing is I used to believe all of this crap before I looked critically at it for a few hours....

Like Keynes yeas ago, Krugman, and now the Knuckleheads of banking, their paradox is their continued existence. If their carbon emissions are so painful to mother gaia, just stop exhaling .
