Will the Third Time be a Charm?
A Bill to include Nuclear Energy as Clean Energy in Colorado Law is Back
Yesterday began the dog and pony show that is the Colorado General Assembly, which meets until early May.
Here’s a hilarious summary from Rep. Jeff Hunt (perhaps a student of
?) which sadly does accurately portray the first few hours of the session.Several bills that didn’t make it through the theater-kid sausage-making machine are back, including one covered here last year: a law to add nuclear energy to the state law’s definition of clean energy.
A short background on nuclear energy in the Centennial State was covered here:
Last year, the bill was killed in committee by a 4-3 vote thanks to in part testimonies by grifter groups such as Green Latinos, the NRDC, and Conservation Colorado.
But this year the bill has several sponsors including a representative from the heart of the state’s luxury belief class: downtown Denver. Valdez was also the CEO of a large rooftop solar company which went under two years ago.
Will this bill make it any further this year?
Or will the colonizer Malthusians continue to choke the Centennial State?
The governing body didn't do very much, so the author didn't have much to say (good) about them.
Why use the level of deception the environmentalists use by describing such a noble creation with that word?
